Obituary for Mark Renton SANDERSON

SANDERSON: MARK RENTON- It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Sanderson announces his sudden passing at his home in Beaverton on Friday December 21st, 2018 from cardiac arrest in his 61st year. Mark is survived by his partner in life Irma Kressibucher, his mother Marilyn Sanderson and predeceased by his father Edward Sanderson. Lovingly missed by his brother Douglas Wright of North Carolina, brother Edward Sanderson (Josanne) of Victoria B.C., sister Catherine Longfield (Gordon) of Apsley Ontario, sister Nancy Sanderson-Swartz, brother Jack Sanderson (Kim) of Cannington. Mother-in-Law Ida Kressibucher, of Oakwood, Ontario, brother-law Urs Kressibucher (Margaret) of Beaverton, Ontario, and sister-in-law Brigitte Koch (Don) of Uxbridge, Ontario. Mark will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.Predeceased by his beloved dog Ben (Benny Boy) Mark had many successful years in the field of sales and marketing. Later in life Mark pursued a career in carpentry which he worked at diligently for many years until retiring to the farm in Beaverton. Mark had a strong love and respect for aviation with hang gliding being his passion. He was most comfortable soaring the skies hanging from his glider. Mark was considered a pioneer in hang gliding and had over forty years of enjoyment of this thrilling sport and was a mentor to many who shared his passion. A celebration of life for Mark will be held on Sunday January 06, 2019 from 1-5 with words of remembrance at 2:30 p.m, at the Cannington Legion, 72 Peace Street, Cannington, Ontario.
